About Us
Our candle obsession started with our passion for great smelling scents that left our home not only smelling amazing but bringing warmth and a relaxing atmosphere.
We love our environment and that's why we use vegetable soy wax which is much heathier for you and our earth!
Each candle has a high-quality wood wick that is not only better for our environment, but they give a fantastic little woodfire crackle.
Every Luxe Galleria candle is individually hand poured with love!
We are also 100% Animal cruelty FREE and vegan friendly!

Meet The Maker
Meet the force behind luxe Galleria candle maker, Karen & sidekick husband Matt.
Our journey into candle making began back in 2015. We found our passion for all things home & decor which quickly included bringing warmth and beautiful fragrances into the home. For us, not only is it about scent, but the overall experience. It's a feeling. The relaxed atmosphere you get from the flame flickering away.
Our candle making journey was placed on a pause in 2018 as we ventured into becoming parents, we unfortunately had a rough start trying to create our little family which seen us into a world of IVF and in turn our candle journey had to take a step back. Our focus had to be family. Now our home is complete and we are so happy to be back doing what we love!
Myself, a background in case management in the telco world to now currently working within the veteran community space and Matt himself, serving 21years in Defence and now a veteran himself, we are a proud Veteran owned business.
We can't thank you enough for supporting our passion and enjoying the ride with us.
We Care
Why Soy?
Soy wax is much more friendly for our environment compared to other types of candle wax. Soy burns longer and cooler than other waxes, and is non toxic when burning. Our Soy wax is a hydrogenated soy oil and contains a soy-based additive. It is both natural and kosher. Is formaldehyde free and natural
Fragrances
Fragrances are composed of natural, naturally derived, and synthetic ingredients. Natural ingredients may darken over time causing some fragrances to change colour. All fragrance materials have been studied by RIFM (Research Institute for Fragrance Materials) for safety, and IFRA (International Fragrance Association) has set forth a code of practices for use of the materials. This ensures that fragrances are safe for consumers. Phthalate free
Candle Care
- Lit candles should always be placed on a stable surface and out of reach of any hands and paws (children and pets) and away from anything that is flammable.
- The first time you burn your candle is the most important one! Let your candle burn for long enough that the wax melts all the way to the end of the jar. If you do not do this the first time you burn your candle, you will get that aweful ring of wax around the edge, and the candle will tunnel.
- Always trim the wick to prevent flickering; not only in this safer but will keep your candle looking clean.
- Never leave your delicious candle burning any longer that 2-4 hours. We know this can be tempting but not only can the jar get quite hot but burning your candle for too long can ruin your candles performance.
Wood Wick Care
While wood wicks are better than traditional wicks because they burn slower and contain no nasty chemicals, wood wicks are known to be a bit more temperamental than traditional wicks. Some tips on keeping your wood wicks burning correctly are:
- If your candle has multiple wicks, all wicks need to be lit when burning your candle. This ensures an even melt surface over the whole candle and will also prevent tunneling and subsequent burn issues with your wood wick.
- Always keep the length of the wood wick at 3-6mm. Too long and the flame may be too large or flame out, too short and the wood wick may struggle to stay alight.
- Do not burn your candle where there is a draft. Burning a candle where there is a ceiling fan, air conditioner or breeze will affect the flame.
- If your wick is too short and wont stay lit, try removing some wax from around the wick and keep the lighter on the wick for a few extra seconds when lighting.
- We suggest lighting your candles with lighters rather than matches as you are able to hold the flame longer to light up the wick.
